This man is on one of the outside doors on the first floor. I have no idea who he is, but he's been there as long as I have, and probably longer. I love that he stays up, that nobody official has seen fit to remove him.

Dusty books
I hesitated before posting this -- I love my library and the staff here does amazing things with very little money. So this is not a slam against my library, merely an example of how libraries are forced to operate.
But this was my last photo for NaBloPoMo and the last photo I took for my Italy series. This was taken on the very bottom shelf of the section.
It didn't make me sad that no one had looked at these books for who knows how long. I was simply fascinated by the dust layers-- it's far beyond dust bunnies.
